Thanks so much for the encouraging words. A couple of people that saw your posting visited our page and left comments. This blog thing is such a great way to share your adoption process with all your friends and family. We’ve had a blast posting pictures and updates for the last 4+ weeks. I know you’ll have just as much fun. We know all about the ups and downs of adopting. Family pressure, lack of understanding, insensitive comments from concerned “friends” and the list goes on and on. Just know that once your little baby boy is placed in your arms for the first time, all that will be forgotten forever. You guys will be awesome parents for a very blessed little boy. Keep on posting updates…we’re excited to journey along with you in this process.

  2. I love seeing other people bring their kids home–it reminds me that that’s going to happen for us one day! I can’t wait until it’s Yay for Bush & Maris & Yay for Aaron & Jamie & Yay for Matt & Rachel 🙂 We love you guys!!

I was just reading your blog (stumbled across it…via ?) But I want to encourage you to read a blog that I check daily. It’s http://www.bigreddriver.blogspot.com/. She’s this AMAZING mom who adopts and fosters children of various races and ages. She’s in her 50’s and I have to tell you that she’s moved me to tears. Not because she’s this eloquent, amazing writer. It’s because she’s simply…..a servant. His servant, to be exact.

I’m sure she’s gone through some of the things you’re going through. Maybe even shoot her an email. It’s nice to talk to a godly Titus 2 woman who’s older and wiser. 🙂 (than me anyways!)
